Themeparkgc Talk 01:49, 23 March 2012 (UTC) Reply Freeze: Reverse Blast will be the new name for the ride I suggest the article be moved accordingly. To the best of the information available at this time, the reliable sources do not make this suggestion and thus there is nothing to verify this possibility. There was a concern in the above section by another editor about the possibility of this retheme being only temporary. Freeze: Reverse Blast – Yesterday it was announced and widely reported that the ride would be renamed to Mr. Vegaswikian ( talk) 00:37, 30 March 2012 (UTC) Reply No further edits should be made to this section. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Themeparkgc Talk 01:50, 23 March 2012 (UTC) Reply Requested move Freeze a new name with the ride just operating in reverse just for the 2012 season?- Jpp858 ( talk) 00:21, 23 March 2012 (UTC) Reply Based upon the information currently available, I have requested that this page be moved. All I am saying is that, why would Six Flags would put some much effort in marketing and giving Mr. Even Colossus runs backwards during Fright Fest with no name change. Themeparkgc Talk 23:39, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply GASM and Racer runs backwards with no name change. In the cases of Great American Scream Machine and Racer were the rides renamed when trains ran in reverse? If they weren't I'm probably leaning towards moving this page (even if there is the chance that it would be moved back following this season). Texas Giant had its whole ride retracked. With the example of Superman: Escape from Krypton, the ride featured new trains which featured a new harness system specifically for being launched in reverse (OTSR instead of lap bars, same as Tower of Terror II). McDoob AU 93 20:53, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply There is nothing to suggest whether this will be permanent or just temporary. If the move is supported, I'll help get everything back in order with a proper move.
Please read WP:MOVE for how to properly move an article simply cutting and pasting creates a lot of problems, since now there are two separate edit histories, one for each name. But, when the move does occur, do not just copy the text from one to the other. I see reasons on both sides and will support whatever consensus decides. As a pledge of good faith, I will only offer comments and will not register a vote either way. McDoob AU 93 20:34, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply Well how were we certain on Superman, they can just make the ride go forward again But in my opinion, I think if their is going to be a ride page for the coaster it should be with the right title header with it.- Jpp858 ( talk) 20:49, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply Then propose the move and see where consensus falls. The redirect will work just fine for now, especially since there is no rush. Like I said, just propose the move here and follow normal channels, build consensus, then move. So I agree to the change! If it ever changes you just have to redirect back, but I promise you it won't happen! - Jpp858 ( talk) 20:28, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply How can you be so certain? Many roller coasters have been run in reverse temporarily, including The Great American Scream Machine, Racer and others. Freeze roller coaster it will just redirect them to the new article with the new name of the ride. McDoob AU 93 16:10, 22 March 2012 (UTC) Reply This is permanent just like the Superman: Escape from Krypton and New Texas Giant coasters. Per WP:MOVE, this isn't that cut and dried. So, in order to move it, please request the move and discuss it, then build consensus, which may well be for it to move. If it's just for 2012, then this should be a subhead under the main article. is this permanent or just for this season? We need to discuss moving the article first before actually moving it. Now that the modification has been made, we have another question. As such, we should hold off on this until such time as official word, through local press in Dallas/Ft. They could conceivably be fan-made, for all we know.
Videos have been presented, but with no way to determine their authenticity. As of yet, no reliable proof has emerged.
Freeze will run backwards in the very near future. Louis have been running overtime lately with suggestions that Mr. The rumor mills for both Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags St.
